My name is Aurora Vicente

I'm a professional musician and music teacher with a huge passion for everything related to fashion. I'm originally from Madrid, Spain, but I have been living in Ireland for the last 21 years. I'm fluent in Spanish and English, and I can read in Portuguese, Italian, and French.

I have a diploma in Professional Photo, Film, TV, and Personal Styling from the British College of Professional Styling, which has given me the knowledge and skills to translate my love for fashion into a career path.

I'm touching on different areas of styling; however, I will focus mostly on personal styling and blogging.

​

My work includes research comparing designer trends from recent collections, illustrating the shared characteristics with 50s and 60s era fashion. I also constructed a flatlay outfit and a stack to fit InStyle magazine. I'm a big fan of films, so I ventured into this world by creating a mood board for a modern remake of Sandy from Grease. Here, I presented my ideas about the character's personality and dressed Sandy in current fashion trends to convey this.​

As a personal stylist, I conduct color analyses for clients, determining their seasonal palette and educating them on how to incorporate this into their wardrobes. This then leads me to perform a more comprehensive wardrobe assessment. Apart from analysing client's color palettes and body shapes, I identify their personal sense of style and lifestyle. I also conduct complete clean-out of clothes to be discarded, and take them on shopping trips to purchase new items to complement their existing wardrobe.

Finally, I have written three articles: "How to Reinvent Old Pieces in Your Wardrobe", "A White Dress for Everyone" and "10 Timeless Pieces You Should Invest In",  which you can find on this blog.
